On My Couch Episode 26 – Diana Bevington

“Process mapping, business improvement and change” – hot topics in today’s ever-changing environment so Sue O’Malley and I were super appreciative of the opportunity to explore these and more with Diana Bevington from Bevington Partners.

Diana has vast experience in this space and recently published an academic paper with Professor Danny Samson in the Australian Journal of Management, so we knew we were in safe hands! We talked about what has evolved and changed in these areas (and what hasn’t), how you go about measuring ROI and the important linkages back to people, culture and leadership.

This was a great discussion with some powerful insights and confirmations – and we ended on a high with a great example from the medical industry as to how involving the team to identify what at first seems like a small change, can have massive impacts.
