AHA / Accommodation Australia
Accommodation Australia is the peak body representing the nation’s hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, and accommodation providers—advocating for industry standards, workforce development, and the long-term success of the sector.
The Australian Hotels Association (AHA) represents hotels, pubs, and licensed venues across the country, supporting members through advocacy, training, industry development, and the recognition of excellence.
Since 2014, OMC Group has partnered with Accommodation Australia and the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) to deliver high-impact 1 and 2 day leadership programs for hospitality leaders in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Over 800 emerging and established leaders have now completed these programs, gaining practical tools in people leadership, culture-building, communication, and performance excellence tailored specifically to the hospitality environment.
As a result of his long association with these hospitality member bodies and work with many clients in the sector around Australia, Damien O’Malley has served as a contributing judge AHA National Awards for Excellence since 2019 and as a contributing judge for the Accommodation Australia (VIC) Awards since 2025.
GeelongPort
OMC Group has partnered with GeelongPort since 2016 in designing and delivering a range of leadership development, cultural alignment, innovation capability and organisational effectiveness programs. Delivered an integrated program that combined customer-centred service design, process improvement and cultural uplift—building capability and creating service delivery enhancement projects - Chartered Innovation Program (10 months)
Co-designed a comprehensive innovation development program, including a week-long Innovation Immersion in Singapore, giving participants exposure to global innovation ecosystems and strengthening creative, commercial and problem-solving capability. - Leadership Development Program
Designed and delivered a tailored leadership program focused on constructive behaviours, communication, coaching, accountability, and the practical realities of leading teams in a safety-critical environment.

Greater Western Water
OMC Group has supported Greater Western Water through a series of leadership and change programs designed to strengthen culture, capability and alignment across the organisation.
Our work began with City West Water, partnering on the scoping and managing the procurement process for the design and delivery of a Safety Leadership Program focused on constructive behaviours, accountability and safe decision-making.
Building on this foundation, OMC Group developed and delivered a Change Leadership Program for both leaders and team members across the organisation—equipping the organisation with practical tools to navigate transition, communicate with clarity, and maintain performance when City West Water merged with Western Water.
Following the formation of Greater Western Water, we facilitated a one-day leadership workshop with the newly integrated leadership group, supporting them to build shared purpose, align expectations and start to establish the cultural and leadership behaviours required for the new entity’s success.
Leaders for Geelong
OMC Group has been a long-standing partner of the Committee for Geelong’s flagship Leaders for Geelong program, contributing to the development of emerging and established leaders across the region.
Since 2013, Damien O’Malley has served as a facilitator and contributor, delivering sessions focused on leadership mindset, constructive behaviours, culture, collaboration, and community impact.

Leaders for Geelong is a premier leadership development program that equips participants with the insight, networks, and capability to positively influence the region’s social, economic, and civic future. Over an intensive multi-month experience, emerging leaders explore regional challenges and opportunities, engage with influential stakeholders, and build the skills needed to lead in complex and community-focused environments.
OMC Group’s involvement supports the program’s mission of strengthening Geelong’s leadership pipeline—helping participants develop the mindset, behaviours, and confidence required to make a meaningful contribution to the region.

Property Investment Groups / Retail Property Owners and Operators
OMC Group deliveres strategic analytics solutions across multiple large-scale retail property portfolios, focusing on enhancing customer engagement and operational efficiency. OMC Group has been engaged to advise on implementing analytics capabilities to support decision-making and improve retailer and shopper experiences.
In addition, OMC Group have provided consulting services for shopping centre marketing, helping teams leverage data-driven insights to optimise campaigns, improve customer traffic, and strengthen brand positioning.
These projects required close collaboration with asset managers and marketing stakeholders to ensure seamless rollouts, compliance with commercial objectives, and measurable outcomes in terms of performance and value creation.
